Welcome to the Library Staff Tools blog

Hi everyone,
I will use this blog to update staff on Library Happenings. Please familiarise yourself with the postings on this blog. I will add recommended websites, pictures, links and anything else you want to see - this is our Library Staff blog! I have added the Staff Updates Newsletter down on the bottom RHS under Links. This will take you to the Council Intranet, where the Staff Updates have been added at the bottom of Library Staff tools as a download. Not a direct link at this stage but at least you can refer to them whenever you want!
Enjoy!
Vicki

Well, here we are in the 21st century. It'll be interesting to see where this blogspot takes us. (Is blogspot a word?)

Hi fellow bloggers
I'm recently back from a walk-fest up in the New England ranges! Picture this: yours truly in a sleeping bag on the back deck of a cabin looking straight out towards the eastern horizon, watching the sky turn red at dawn; five of us wandering by Five Day Creek, your classic mountain stream who's water you can drink, with the sun making dappled light on forest, rocks and water; five of us singing in harmony in an empty cabin up at Point Lookout. There's lots more but I'll cease and desist. Except to say that this cabin cost each of us only $12 a night, during school holidays! So cheap. And there were fascinating Guestbooks there, some very funny entries.

Am also pleased to have got in and have a look at my first blog. I will need to get used to the idea of throwing my thoughts out into the ether, though.
